Was in town for a wedding and the hotel was clean, comfortable and conveniently located. We experienced 3 issues that marred our stay.
1. Employee smoking on duty IN THE ENTRYWAY, nearly blocking the door of the hotel. I guess he stood there because he was on desk duty and needed to check people in and answer phones. We passed through the front door several times, he was always there smoking and it made the entire entryway, eating area and foyer smell like smoke! And at the desk was a sign that warned that we would incur a $250 fine if we smoked in the room.
2. Very strong, foul, mildew smell in the hallway just outside our room.
3. We were denied the waffles!! An employee prevented us from making waffles, saying it was "closed." It was 9:30 in the morning. Checkout was 11am. The free waffles was the reason we chose this hotel over all the other options. Now every time I see their commercial about their free waffles, I want to scream.

I chose this location due to TripAdvisor reviews and nearness to the airport. Hotel is a little dated and could use some new carpet in the heavy traffic areas. Check in was quick and professional. Room with two double beds was large enough for an additional comfortable chair. Bathroom was spotless and stocked with lots of towels. Bed was comfortable and provided a good night’s sleep. Breakfast was the usual offerings from the Choice Hotel brand. Fairly priced for quality and value.

Nice to be in a place with high standards. Right Europe? Good parking. Good room. We were very close to the lobby, which had pros and cons. On the one hand it was good to not walk as far. On the other it was a tad louder. The walls were thin and the bed was squeaky and the breakfast was crowded at 8:30, but breakfast was good, the room was good with lots of plugs and a good TV and fridge and coffee and microwave. Big shower with a shower head with three settings and a handle for less steady people. I didn't try the pool area. Some vending machines as well. There's a Cumberland Farms gas station right next door. Good air conditioning situation. Was very happy with the place.
