Visited for a dance competition at UAlbany. Stopped by The Bistro and was welcomed by Amanda and Matthew! The food was great! The service was great! The conversation was awesome ! & The coffee was amazing! Great customer service!

Amanda and Matt were a breath of fresh air!! Matt was so down to earth and relatable and made my night with his attentiveness! Amanda was sweet courteous and helpful. Her smile definitely lightened up my evening. Thanks for being so kind

Held a meeting there. There was a lack of communication between the sales rep and the hotel staff. I was met with a little attitude because I was told one thing by the sales rep, but that message was not passed to the hotel staff so they were not prepared for me as far as the meeting room. Once we got past that the staff went out of their way to make sure everything went as smooth as it could for my meeting. The elevator also was out of service the weekend I was there, and Megan graciously offered to help me get my heavy suitcase up the stairs. And the morning I left another staff member helped me get it down the stairs. The room was clean and very spacious. My only real issue was how well I was able to hear the very noisy couple in the room next to me, but that’s not really the fault of the hotel (other than adding more insulation in walls between rooms!) Overall I would say above average experience given the helpfulness of the staff.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback of your stay. We truly appreciate your patience when we were figuring out what was going on in regards to the meeting. What you experienced normally doesn't happen. I'm happy we were able to resolve things rather quickly.
I do apologize again for the elevator. It was a major inconvenience that weekend and we are truly thankful you and everyone else just rolled with it. I'm happy to announce that the elevator was up and running by the beginning of that week and there are high hopes that the new parts will last a very long time!
I hope you were able to get some rest. If I remember correctly you had back to back training to teach in several different time zones!

We stayed for two nights along with many other wedding guests. Location is excellent to almost everything in the Capitol Region. The hotel and grounds are in new condition. We had a king bedroom. The bathroom was way to small for this unit. Awkward with the bath door and toilet so close. A little disappointed that there was no free coffee/tea in lobby like its sister chains or their competition. They did have an on site Marriott restaurant , but it was pricey. Finally, the service was first rate, friendly and accommodating to all our needs.

Maintaining the highest level of customer service is our number one goal and I am so happy to hear that exceeded your expectations. Thank you for noticing our newly renovated rooms. We work really hard everyday to keep them clean and fresh so everyone can enjoy them.
Here at the Courtyard we unfortunately do not offer complementary coffee in our lobby, but we do offer it in our guest rooms where the refills are unlimited!

After a not so great stay last week at another Marriott up the road a tiny bit while moving our son In at school, my husband and I decided to try the Courtyard instead while visiting him. This is the quality and service we expect from Marriott!! Very friendly greeting upon arrival, quick and painless check in. The hotel was recently renovated so it’s in great shape, but housekeeping keeps it spotless. We had a beautiful room with a view of the UAlbany water tower lit up in the pretty purple.
The coffee area was nicely stocked, plenty of towels, the signature Marriott mattress, like sleeping on a cloud.
We requested a late checkout, no problem! What time do you need? We took Amtrak up so had no car...we figured we’d do a little exploring using the CDTA bus, the girl at the desk was so sweet and navigated me through the website checking the various routes and schedules. Can’t say enough about this hotel. This will be our hotel of choice for the next 4 years!!
Only down side, I tried to switch my existing reservation at our previous hotel from last week for family weekend into the Courtyard using points and there are no more available. bummer.

We booked this through the Marriott app while on a road trip this summer. We ended up getting in later than expected due to a long dinner, so we were happy to be able to use the mobile key on my app to go straight to our room with 2 tired kids instead of waiting to check in! The hotel was nicer than we had expected and we were thrilled to find a Dunkin' next door for our morning coffee before hitting the road again! We will definitely mark this down as a good stop for our next road trip out that way.
