I was visiting Albany on a business trip. I checked in at the Hampton Inn on Western Ave. The check-in was quick the front desk clerk was cordial and very polite.
He explained the Hotel amenities: breakfast, laundry, internet, cable, and local restaurants. The room was clean, sanitized, ans spacious. The breakfast was better than average and the fruit smoothies were an added touch. The common areas were clean and well kept.

I can't say enough about our stay here - rooms are very clean, bed is comfortable, breakfast was delicious, location is excellent, everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely would recommend staying here.

Clean and quiet, first-rate beds. The atmosphere is peaceful and welcoming. Bathrooms are spotless, and the front-desk people are welcoming and helpful. Naturally breakfast is grab-and-go these days, but healthy options are available, and there's a choice of coffee, not bad coffee, either.
