A family of 6.. 2 rooms reserved and paid for in early July. When we go to Econolodge the receptionist claimed that they never received are reservation. This was after 9 pm., he was rude and not helpful , he just simply refused to give me the 2 rooms that I had already paid for in full.
When I asked if he had rooms available he said yes uet when talking wilth Expedia he said no… liar.
When I asked where would I go .. that we were six people and as he was looking at one of the kids who was crying he stated ‘ I don’t care .. get out’. I had to call the police for some kind of help be cause Expedia who reached out to the owner got no where with them.
To pay on full and reach to uour destination on’y to be thrown out and treated like garbage while knowing that they are leaving kids with no where to sleep in the USA is a disgrace. Shame on Econo lodge and Expedia for allowing this kid of behavior.
Conclusion : the motel ne t door Howard Johnson gave me 2 cleaner rooms cheaper!
Beware to anyone booking a room at this place, this is not the first time they doo tjis and surely not the last.
