The abandoned building right next to hotel is miserable to see. The carpeting outside the rooms must be vacuumed a lot more frequently.

Where to begin. My 17 year old said “it looks like belongs in a serial killer movie”. Looks nothing like the pictures, is totally run down. Room smelled horrible. Our room was connected to another room with the flimsiest lock. We turned around and left. Thankfully my credit card refunded me. Did not feel safe here at all.

I remember back in my younger days the Howard Johnson’s was the place to stay when away from home. That was long ago but this HoJos has hung onto a bit of the past with the retro deco. While there is clearly some redo happening the rooms are clean and the plumbing works well. What more could a girl want? The noise level can be a bit much at night(occasionally)but all in all a nice place to stay. Staff is kind and respectful.

I’m sure they are working with what they have, but this was not good for the price. I would maybe pay $10 a night for what we got. At least then I know I would be getting exactly what I paid for. $67 a night was WAY TOO MUCH.

There were mice droppings (poop) everywhere in the room, I notified front desk and she tried to assure me there was no mice… after I seen the poop in multiple places with my own eyes. Then when I went to check out because there was no way I was staying another night, the front desk associate tried to explain that they have a pest control come once a month so there is no way they have mice or rats and that it could just be a guest playing games???? I went to sleep and there wasn’t any poop, woke up and it’s everywhere! They 1000% have mice.

We came with our family. When we we saw the place it was too late to cancel so we slept and left as soon as we woke up. We did not even go to have the breakfast we were entitled to, since the place looked so bad.
