We are a Wyndham Diamond member and we
requested early check in as to get ready for a family birthday party. When we got to hotel , we were told that check in was not till 3 , once I gave the front desk person my name she looked it up and said yes I see the request , but I still can’t check you in as we have no power ( the entire area was with out power) . I asked if I could change at least some where to get ready for birthday party . She said no power anywhere . Once I explained again my situation she said I could go to room to at least change . My husband opened all curtains so I could see and stood guard as I changed !!! The room was spotless , just no towels as no power to do laundry . Room was stuffy and a bit stale smelling , but we chalked that up to no power . We left our suitcase in room and went to party . Upon returning that evening we were happy to find power restored and the room stocked with towels and such and also as requested extra pillows . The pool , courtyard and grounds were kept very well and the newly renovated room was nice . It may be an older hotel, but with the remodel felt brand new. All staff, front desk, cleaning and grounds keeping were wonderful. There was a broken flower pot near pool and a gentleman who worked there put it in a wheel barrel and took the plants and put them in other planters around hotel instead of just throwing it out , very nice . We will defiantly stay here again in the future for family visits. Very glad we chose this hotel. Great job to all .
