Nice property. All was quite clean and organized with the exception of sporadic maid service. They cleaned one day and not another etc. Pandemic or not, you pay full price for service including housekeeping so there is no excuse for not supplying full housekeeping. Rates should have been reflected otherwise. Other than that, I can’t say anything too bad about this place. It was a nice property and hopefully as things ease up, service will return to normal and will perform as it should.

The albany locals should have stopped this conglomerate from taking over their landmark. They should also advocate for its restoration . I wonder how many people also had some sort of emotional moment when they walked in here after the renovations. I used to fly into albany instead of la guardia/jfk just to come here . I would make excuses why I had to arrive days late. When I walked in and saw this zombie appocalypse wasteland I walked out immediately and went straight back to the airport.

Although they claim to be a high end stay there are some issues. This place needs a management upgrade. Tried to get my room cleaned during a 5 day stay required legislation from a government lol. When you ask them to fit your schedule it's a no go. Restaurant is remodeled but lacks a staff. The rooms are fresh. The exterior is in need of alot of attention.
