The staff was courteous and helpful. The room was clean and quiet. The complementary continental breakfast was very good with a variety of choices. The coffee was just right. The room was reasonably priced. Just what we were looking for for a one night stay passing through Albany
Stopped here on the way to Boston for the night . Our room was clean nice beds fridge I just find the bathroom really small my only complaint . The breakfast was decent . Lots of restaurants nearby and close to highway. Mall across the street. Free parking
The good: responsive staff and breakfast buffet are better than average. The evening staff person welcomed us warmly after a long and stressful drive. They also advised us (when we called to make reservations) that they could accommodate our long trailer. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean.
The bad (for us): there is mandatory Fox News on the television (I quietly asked if it could be changed and they said that corporate sets a policy and they are not allowed to change the channel.) I find this "news program" deeply offensive and it's odd that the Holiday Inn Express corporation has aligned itself so strongly with a news program.
Contrast this with our next travel experience (at a competitor's hotel). They had on Good Morning America, and the volume was at a reasonable level. It was such a pleasant way to eat breakfast and I complimented the manager on the entire breakfast experience, including being able to sit down and enjoy breakfast without being bombarded by something that my family and I (and 50% of the traveling public) are offended by.

We family of 4 stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. The hotel room is clean and bed is comfortable. They have microwave and mini fridge in everyroom which is very convienent. Also their breakfast is very good ranging from hot to cold, everything you could think of breakfast. The best thing is that you could request anything you forgot like toothpaste, brushes, etc. I requested shower head and got it which saved me time to buy outside. I will definately book this hotel again if I come to this area in the future.
Great location on corner of Central Avenue and Wolf Rd. Across from the mall with lots of food choices. The beds were comfortable with choice of pillows. Clean room with mini fridge, coffee maker and microwave. Decent breakfast included. I would stay here again.
