This hotel lived up to every aspect of the IHG brand that I have been accustomed to, but I wasn't particularly impressed with the service staff. When we checked into our room, there was a dirty wash cloth hanging on the shower curtain rod. I didn't call the desk about it, but I left my used bath towel hanging next to it the next morning. When we got back that night, my towel was gone, but the dirty washcloth was still there! I also wasn't very satisfied with the condition of the breakfast area and tables - it wasn't very well maintained. Maybe just a glitch in time, because the hotel was completely full, but still staff should pay attention to details.

Absolutely no complaints ! Clean, well appointed, quiet night's rest on our trip across country. Herman at the front desk was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast bar a welcome plus as the Keurig in the room was also. A really nice place to stay with a shopping mall and restaurants right across the street. Very near to routes 87 and 90 too.

This is an older flag hotel that has been recreated as a Holiday Inn Express. You work with what you have. That being said it was an ok place. The room was much smaller than we are accustomed to in HIEs. The facility appeared to be clean, linens were good, and room was clean.

The man (Shiquile) was very welcoming and helped us with a quick check in and advice on dining places.

The cons of this HIE was that access from the facility to the street was difficult and dangerous due to heavy traffic and a four lane street. There were two very visible burn marks on the carpet in the room (non smoking room?). There was a funny smell in the halls. Probably a carry over from the previous flag. Breakfast was ok but not very well supplied.

This was not a bad experience but we have much better ones in other HIEs.
