I stayed at this property for 1 night due to its proximity to the airport & distance from the highway. I discovered the property by using the Marriott Bonvoy app. I found the stay, overall to be satisfactory and on par for a Springhill suits. I appreciate the fact that they make you aware, upon checking of the upcoming renovation with the some of the furniture in the rooms being outdated and stained. I found the room to be clean and well laid out. I had a pleasant interaction with a room attendant and an engineering employee while on property both were kind and professional. I had a very disappointing experience with a member of the front desk staff. So much so that I contacted corporate Marriott and the top level leadership of the management company who is responsible for the running the property. I originally wrote a 1 star review because of the nasty front desk interaction. Not only was I contacted by the property GM shortly thereafter but also corporate marriott and the VP of Shield Hotels (management company) who all listened to my experience and expressed genuine concern and lack of toleration for the details of this unacceptable interaction with their representative. Excellent damage control Marriott & Shield! Give the property a shot. Fair price, clean, and willing to accept responsibility when things don’t go as planned.
