I arrived with a friend in a serious condition. Health issue. The afternoon/evening front desk staff--Ryan and Michael--were true rockstars. From the moment we walked in they were friendly and warm.
After a bit of banter we checked in, but I requested a look at a handicap accessible room. No problem! I was taken straight to one and allowed to give it a once over. A bit later I returned with a takeout meal, though I had forgotten to pick up a few salt packets. No problem! One of the guys took a plastic cup into the back, filled it up with salt and returned it for our use.
What has been said about the rooms is plentiful and accurate--the hotel is nice and lacks for nothing. But what made my stay so memorable were the actions, the compassion of the two gentleman at the front desk.
This was the first night of one heck of a journey and I cannot thank these two fellows enough for setting us off on the right foot.
