We look for Spring Hill Suites when staying with family for one night stays. They’re generally clean, safe, nice staff, and the layout (2 beds and separate area with desk and sofa bed) allow for our family of five to stay comfortably without needing a second room.
This location was one of the best SHS we’ve stayed at (out of dozens) because of location but especially because of the staff, one employee actually.
Michael was on duty the evening we called ahead with some questions and to confirm our reservation and he was very helpful and professional.
When we checked in, Michael was on duty and was so helpful and professional. He helped us with dinner delivery, helped us find the baseball playoff game we were looking for on tv, and even called back a little later to see if there was anything else we needed.
The room was clean, fairly large for the cost, with coffee maker, refrigerator, iron, and sink outside bathroom. Temperature controls worked well and beds were very comfortable.
Don’t underestimate the free breakfast and parking which would have surely cost us in excess of $90 combined at another property.

Nicest sheets on our entire trip! The bed was comfortable also.The Asian restaurant almost next door was fabulous and worth driving back there from Maine again. The hotel was a busy place. Breakfast and staff was fine.
Room tip: Hotel is set back from the road- we had a room in the front overlooking parking lot and it was just fine.

We stayed there to visit UAlbany. We arrived late. The front desk gentleman was very nice and accommodating. There was coffee and lollipops. The room was spacious. The wifi worked well. Breakfast included scrambled eggs, oatmeal, and many other items. Everything was wonderful. I would highly recommend this place. Close to Albany proper too.

Greeted by friendly staff, in a great location with clean big rooms, comfortable bed and lots of pillows. Free breakfast and WiFi. A hidden gem off behind a Mobil has station. Highly recommended - will be back for sure.

The hotel and rooms are clean. The room has a small refrigerator and microwave, small coffee pot and coffee to use. There is a Denny’s and Cracker Barrel within walking distance. Breakfast is included with a good selection of food. It’s a small hotel but rooms are comfortable. This hotel is a little tired but the price is very reasonable.

The hotel room layout was great. The check-in was amazing. The pull out sofa bed was a different story. We found potato chips eye makeup brush a lollipop stick a small plastic bag and other gross things under the sofa bed when we opened it up. When we first arrived our shower door would not open when we called maintenance they told us at engineering and put the plastic piece on backwards so they ripped it off. The wallpaper is also falling apart in the entire room and in places it's taped back together.
