We went up for "move in day". The emotions were high and some in our party were more upset than others. Our check in was seamless and quick. The staff was friendly which was exactly what we needed. We were exhausted and the pillows were amazing!! The bed was a tad bit too firm for me but we all slept soundly and my family had no complaints
The staff welcomed my pet upon arrival which I thought was very sweet. I needed some help finding places in the area and they were extremely informative. The bathroom had a tub, which I love and the room was clean and comfortable. I would recommend this property.
For the second time in as many stays we checked in via app day before and selected our preferred room, only to find the room was not cleaned and available when we arrived the next day at 4:45 Pm (well after the checkin time of 3:00pm)…our friends joining us had the same experience
Employees are super nice. Enjoyed my stay there. Hotel was clean and bed was comfortable. Now the bed pillows are Meh, could use an improvement on those. Found the elevators to be extremely slow and the panel inside wasn’t completely screwed to the wall, it moved a lot and when you will push the button for your floor, you had to push it several times to get it to stay lit up.
Breakfast was good every morning, continental style, but they also have a kitchen where you can order your eggs bacon sausage, omelettes etc etc. they bring it to your table for you.
They also have dinner menus for evening. Nice variety to choose from.
Hotel is across from the University of Albany.
Very pleasant and professional arrival, clean and well appointed. Found the property in good maintenance, the bar restaurant had a good chef with great vegetable soup and a very nice selection of specials and wines. Very well done and will return
