this was a convenient location right off the highway while travelling thru Albany.
Not a fan
noise -- right on Thruway & constant traffic noise
no separate pet friendly floors -- fine for those who want to bring their pets -- but that barking dog at 10:30 was not welcome
charging $10 for a continental breakfast was not worth it

I spent five nights at the HGI in Albany for the 112th Session of the South Georgia Annual Conference in March 2024. Wendy and Robin were friendly and made me feel welcome when I was checking in and checking out. The Restaurant Staff were awesome. They were so willing to serve with a smile, very courteous and friendly, and the food was delicious! Housekeeping staff were responded promptly to my needs. I look forward to my next opportunity to stay at the Albany HGI. It was a very pleasant 6 days and 5 nights stay! Kudos and thanks so much for making me feel like a welcomed guest!
My daughter stopped at this hotel and she had lost her voice. I was able to call the front desk to clear up final details. William who answered the phone was very helpful. I made the reservation wrong but he was quick to fix it for us. This is why we stay at Hilton's Line of Hotels, the customer service is awesome. Thank you William for making our holidays bright. Pet Friendly, clean comfortable and quiet!
Stayed 3 days with the most pleasant people at the front desk. Casey and Waidir were a delight. They went out of their way to make our stay very pleasant. Thank you so much.. We will be back for sure.

Beautiful, spotlessly clean hotel. We were lucky enough to get an ocean view room and we saw dolphins in the bay every morning. The room had everything you needed and was a real touch of luxury. Beautiful toiletries and bathroom facilities. Lovely cosy, comfy beds and pillows. Perfect room temperature. We didn't eat breakfast as was too expensive and cheaper options in the town centre which is easily accessible from the hotel. We did have a pizza from room service on the first night, which we had to collect from downstairs and it was awful (undercooked with dried herbs poured on top at the last minute). They refunded it next morning for us. So from that point of view, they need to improve, as theres some beautiful places in the town centre to eat. Can't rate Liberte highly enough. We will definitely stay here again when back in Albany.
