We’ve stayed here multiple times for a family members surgeries. Attached to Albany Medical Center. Staff are generally wonderful. Clean with everything you need for a basic hotel stay. My bed this last visit was a little uncomfortable but that is generally not the case. I recommend
We found the rooms to be very clean and the staff very friendly and accommodating. Our trip was for medical reasons at the local hospital and the hotel is just across the street With a covered bridge access to the hospital.
This hotel could really use an update. With the lobby on the second floor and the entrance on the first it was an odd set up. I had a few times the hotel room door did not working correctly, but the desk staff was great about getting it fixed.
There's a bridge to the hospital that makes it super convenient.
I chose this hotel because I thought it had restaurants on site for dinner and breakfast, and a bar for happy hour. The only thing available was bar food for dinner and a few cold items for breakfast. This required me to order food off premises which was inconvenient and more costly. Also, I was put in a suite that was next to the linen/laundry room that had the radio on all night which kept waking me up.
We chose this hotel for someone who is having back surgery because they said they had a pool fitness room and hot tub all of which the guest could’ve used due to back issues None of it was open they also have two restaurants on premises neither were open
