Likely one of the worse stays at a Marriott hotel that I've every experienced. We were traveling for business, I had rooms booked for me and my team and upon check-in were asked if we needed all of our rooms and I replied no and frankly wasn't sure how the additional rooms were added to my account. The front desk replied that they needed the rooms as they were oversold - my reply they could have the rooms as we didnt need them nor did we have any idea how they got booked on our account. At check-out the following morning - thankfully we only stayed one night - we were told they charged us for the rooms as they'll didnt sell - since we were told the night before they needed the rooms that we didnt book we were confused. Well the confusion still continues. We were told by the hotel front desk manager that someone called and spoke with us to confrim we needed the rooms - no one called us or spoke with us - it seems the extra rooms were somehow added to our account/reservations. We have no idea how this happened and still dont know how or by who. This overbooking was by error - some how by someone other than me. In addition to these issues, upon check-out the front desk was very rude and unprofessional - actually in my almost 30 years of staying at Marriott properties this was the worse I've ever encountered. I could ramble on some more but I'll spare everyone the details. If you book at this hotel be sure to double check your receipts, reservation, and I hope the front desk staff are more professional to you than they were to us.
