AJ at the front desk got my experience off to a great start with his kind, personable and friendly demeanor and an upgrade to a King suite for a new Hilton Honors member due to me being the last check in as I arrived into town well after 11 pm on a late train. I had some unnecessary stress as I approached the desk as the Hilton website was not showing my reservation probably due to it being late in the day on the check in date but luckily it came right up in the front desk computer.
The room was very nice and clean with lots of space, bed comfortable, pillows very thin had to use two which sadly seems to be par for the course for four star hotels these days and I didn't have the energy to go back down to ask about something different. Iron worked and ironing board not too unwieldy. Breakfast was passable, scrambled eggs real not powder and not too moist, potatoes edible, better than three star continental breakfast, certainly not restaurant quality which you shouldn't expect from a free four star breakfast anyway.
Only nit picks are it was unfortunate that the continental breakfast used disposable plates and cutlery, but I can easily understand that with staffing challenges, and hot water in lobby for tea was lukewarm when I made a second cup just before checkout time.
