Thanks to AJ for all your help at the front desk and for your friendly, helpful, professional disposition! The rooms and common areas were all updated and clean. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed because we were there on Sunday. AJ is a great asset to this location!

Did my research via this website and it was helpful. Don’t bother driving to the front entrance to check in. Go to the back and valet park your car ( supposedly it’s $18 but I wasn’t charged). There is an entrance in the back. Make sure you get any cash you need for tipping before checking in. No ATM on site. There are some within a half mile. But the area is pretty desolate even on a Saturday morning, so be careful (homeless wandering around).
The hotel itself is very modern but the HVAC units definitely need updating. The cover to mine was broken. The room smelled musty and it took several hours to clear (fortunately I was there for a show and it smelled somewhat better when I returned.
Since I use the Hilton app, I don’t need to stop at the desk to check in/out. I highly recommend downloading it! Woke up late and missed breakfast so I can’t review. I’d stay there again because it’s only one block from the Palace Theatre.

I come to Albany on a regular basis for work and always try and stay here. The location is convenient and The staff is always very helpful and the restaurant is fantastic. I’d also like to mention Mike and the rest of the valet staff as they do a great job and can drive a stick!
