My stay at the Hilton was across the board awful. Here's why:
1) The worst thing is that walls in the guest rooms are PAPER THIN. I was woken up this morning at 5:45 am when the guy in the room next door talked to his wife. He talked in a normal voice, but I could hear every word and woke up 90 minutes before my alarm was set.
2) When I called down to the front desk about it, the woman said "there's nothing I can do about it, call the manager when she gets in at 9." First, they should empower people to solve guests' problems, but second SHE should tell the manager there was a problem rather than having me do it. I already registered my complaint.
3) I was expecting a package sent from a colleague. When I checked in, it wasn't there. I had to go down to the front desk and/or call down 3 times before they got it.
4) It was lovely that they had a Peloton in the gym, but it wasn't connected to their wifi and I didn't have the wifi password obviously. When I called the front desk, they said they'd look into it. But who has 30 minutes to wait to use equipment.
