Nice new hotel, but parking needs to be more secure. Options are remote to hotel and require lengthy walk to an elevator up to the lobby floor. Entrance not secured by key access. Definitely need a valet option.

Many hotels lately have been outdated, not kept up to cleaning expectations... my stay this week was great! Although traveling for work, this is a prime location- next to the Palace theatre, a distillery and brewery.

Thank you for staying at Hyatt Place Albany Downtown. Thanks for the compliment. We do have a parking lot which is just 250 steps away from the hotel. I am sorry to hear that you had key issues. Our hotel is fully secure and only hotel guests can enter with key access after certain time. Our top priority is our guest security. I hope you choose us again when you in Albany.

Nice visit as a quick stop over while travelling. Parking and entrance was a little confusing late at night. Clean and friendly. Fairly easy access from route

The room was very clean and the hallways were safe. I also liked the gym - which had a nice variety of equipment. The staff were courteous, the coffee was good and an assortment of breakfast food made the stay very comfortable.

Have fun being sent to who knows where to find a parking spot for your car. This hotel has no parking at its location. You will be sent to the street 300 yards away fro
The building or an adjacent parking structure down the street. Not the best area of Albany so it was really uncomfortable parking my vehicle this far from the hotel. I think it’s ridiculous that they built a 5 story hotel without their own parking lot for the guests.

Thank you for staying at Hyatt Place Albany Downtown. Hotel has parking which is just 30 feet away. We do have 15 mins parking adjacent to the hotel where guest can park for check-in. We also have parking on street which is free after 5PM. We do have ample parking around the hotel. I hope when you come back in Albany you give us another opportunity and stay with us.

Very new, modern, nice, clean Hotel. Friendly staff. Great price/value. Good breakfast included. Bar with good bar-type food (burgers, pizza, salads, sandwiches) and drinks. No restaurant on premises.
Does not have its own parking. Must use nearby public (pay) parking
