Near the mall with restaurants and JC Penney, there’s plenty of free parking. Area seemed safe.
Room was clean, WiFi was strong, bath towels in were good condition, and the free breakfast bar was well-stocked. Diamond members get a poker chip good for $4 in the mini mart.
Fine for a simple overnight stop!

Friendly staff, awesome gym, and really unique two breakfast option with the other connected Hilton hotel. Very close to Crossgates mall, and a great outdoor space have a lot to offer. Room was clean, but the bed was awfully uncomfortable and being on the first floor near the lobby was loud and distracting. The shower sprayed water all over the bathroom even with the curtain closed. Not sure if this was because of being an accessible room, or if they all are like that. Will find somewhere else to stay in the future.

Honestly this was probably one of the worst stays ever. Dirty dirty room. I always bring wipes but I literally had to get a cloth and wash the floor. No nightstand, just a round table that hadn't been moved - maybe ever. Super gross behind it. The air conditioner was so clanky and loud that every time it kicked on, it woke us up. Shower was caked with mold. If we weren't here for a wedding, we would have checked out and gone somewhere else. Also, these rooms are tiny - like my dorm room in college was bigger. Only reason I am giving them 3 stars is the fact that the front desk staff was kind and helpful. We did not use the pool but my in-laws said it was ice cold. Even breakfast was ridiculous. Toast machine could not be adjusted and every piece of toast was burned.
$281. for 1 night on 5/ 11/24 to attend U Albany grad. Reserv made in Jan. Clean room w/2 queen beds, no carpet ( no prob.), 1 large + 2 mini pillows each bed ( mini pillows for what?) no closet, broken outlet in bathroom, nearly empty soap dispenser. How the overall space was used was a head-scratcher. See pics. Common area has pool table, some games, but seating was big, foam cushions and kind of yucky. Connecting hotel nicer, more $$, but you can use its lobby and combo Tru’s free breakfast with that one. Tru is okay, just need to make sure you check out things upon arrival. Wld likely stay elsewhere if back in Albany again.
The hotel was clean and breakfast was decent. You can definitely hear people in the halls during the night and they don't seem to encourage quiet hours.
When I opened the blinds in the room the metal plate that goes across the top of the window fell and hit me in the head, leaving a small cut and good sized bruise. I let the front desk staff know and they said they would have it fixed but didn't see concerned that someone got hurt. Thankfully it didn't fall on my child.
