This Homewood Suites is located walking distance to the Crossgates Mall. The place feels fairly new. There is no EV charger in the hotel parking lot but there is one a few minutes away on the other side of the mall. The lobby is a little confusing since one side leads to the Tru hotel and the other to the Homewood Suites. There are two breakfast areas and you can go to either one. The gym was shared and pretty big for a hotel gym. Room was clean and well maintained. Would return.

Absolutely perfect. We had made reservations months ago for this trip with quality inn since we have family bear that hotel. It was horrendous, after seeing hotel and room i refused to stay. It was stinky and filthy. So happy we found you. It was worth losing the nights stay $$$ that we still had to pay. Seriously cant believe how bad it was. Thank you for getting us a room for our stay. I am an Ace Trip advisor reviewer and cant wait to write up rave reviews about this place

Tiola was absolutely amazing! My family and I ate dinner here in a Wednesday when they offer a free meal to guests. Tiola went above and beyond, she even offered me to take a meal back to the room for the kids later because they were done serving and didn’t want it to go to waste. Amazing experience. loved everything about this place. the location is right off the 87 / 90 interchange, so close to everything. it sits about 1000' from the crossgates mall property-which has plenty of entertainment, shopping, and food. the hotel has a TRU by Hilton on one side of it, and the other wing is the Homewood Suites. the HS side is well-appointed, with a nice cozy lounge that is next to the breakfast seating area. small business center.
room was well-appointed, with a small kitchen, full fridge, microwave, sink, plates, spoons, etc. nice size bed, plenty of power outlets. the smell inside the room and bathroom was incredible. hard to describe, but was a nice fresh aroma. everything was clean. even the shower pressure was on point - nice and hard, on a certain setting of the shower head. complimentary body wash, shampoo, conditioner pump bottles on the wall. hand soap and lotion pump bottles next to the sink. super nice.
breakfast was decent. the usual offerings: cheese omelet, round sliced ham, biscuits/gravy, cereals, breads, oatmeal, coffee and creamers, fruits, and waffle station.
staff was courteous and helpful
overall, this was a great place to stay overnight or for an extended stay. would definitely come here again.
This will be my go to hotel when in Albany going forward.. Great checkin, clean and updated hotel. I had a king on the 5th fl. I received 2 texts during my 2 night stay from the hotel seeing how my stay was going!! Breakfast was included. I loved the furniture by the fireplace.
I didn’t use but there is a pool, outdoor basketball and grills.
Location to cross gate mall is less then a 5 minute walk and plenty of restaurants, shopping and entertainment to select from.
