staff went above and beyond to make my family and kids stay safe. Housekeeping did awesome job keeping up our rooms clean. Round the clock service by hotel staff. restaurant in same parking lot and pick up is easy plus nice food. When we coming back next time in Albany. we are staying here.
What a great experience. Check in was easy peasy, lemone squeazy as my grandone says.....we had great fun swimming, hanging out, coloring, and watching the stars....every one was very nice and our breakfasts were AMAZING!
The interior and exterior of the building was filthy, the room we were given was unclean and it and the entire building smelled horribly of marijuana , we reported the issue to the front desk and their solution was to spray air freshener in the hallway..we checked out and will never go back or recommend this hotel to anyone
I checked out shortly after checking in because I didn’t feel safe. Property was dark, dingy, dirty, scary. This is the kind of property that people live in, not just visit. It appears to be an old Motel 6 changed over to a Days Inn. It has an additional building in the back of the parking lot that is a typical 3 story style hotel. That being said, it is not of the quality that you would expect from a major hotel chain. Find another location, even if it is your car.
We were a bit disappointed with our room. We stayed in a suite. Which is a separate building. The carpet was filthy, leftover food. The outside of fridge was also nasty. The bathroom and sheets were clean. Stains on comforter with cigarette burns. The gentleman who checked us in was very nice. We tried to use the hot tub and it was luke warm. Which was disappointing. In the morning we talked to the front desk person about hot tub, he said we need to turn the dial all the way up it takes a while to heat up. I said a sign on the wall would have helped! He said I should have called. I do not think he understood that a sign should be on the wall explaining how to use it if it’s complicated. I did turn the dial some and it did nothing after 10 minutes. In addition I let him know the bathroom outlet and outlet near window did not work in our room. He said he could have switched our room had I let him
Know. We did not want to switch rooms after a long drive, just wanted him to be aware for future guests. Breakfast was okay, the man that was working the area was friendly and seemed to try as did the front desk staff. Also it would be helpful to have more then 3 towels in a suite! Yes I could have walked in the cold across a parking lot to get more what a hassle, but it seems a suite should have at least 4 bath towels. We are Wyndham rewards members and wish they would work to improve the standards.
