We loved our evening at this restaurant. You order your main dish which starts at 89 shekels for the chicken kebabs and they then bring you 21 different small dishes with pita bread, a pitcher of homemade lemonade mint tea and something sweet after the main course. We were full after the dips! It’s a great experience not to be missed if you are staying in Tel Aviv.

The starter was amazing, obviously when they dump 20+ dish on you, you will find a few you'll like. The main course , on both times I found lacking. I tried the , garlic pawns and that was very under welming, i expected grilling pawns with garlic oil over them, but got small pawns with some kind of garlic sauce. The next time i tried the seafood pasta, again very average.

Maybe just stick to the starter, as that was amazing.

I came here with family visiting from the US thinking it would be a fun and tasty place to eat. It was a Thursday night and there were a lot of people waiting to eat. The waiters were very hasty and barely let us finish our order before they walked away. We ordered shrimp and the next day all 3 of us were sick with food poisoning, which ruined the end of my family’s trip in Tel Aviv.

We dined here today , got tasty salads, waited a long time for our main courses- shish and lamb chops, both served cold!
This is the first time we are eating such cold served dishes in a restaurant. We asked the waiter to warm them, 10 minutes later we recieved the same dishes but not that hot. of course the french fries and potato wedges weren׳t replaced
and was served cold again.
Never going to go back again
P.S waiter didn’t apologize for the dishes and the prices for the main courses are quite expensive.

Went to the old man and the sea after last being there 3 months ago. Got salads like usual before we made an order for a main for each us. Before we then maid our decision what to order the waiter who was serving us ( basically we had 3 different waiters) kept asking us to hat we want and we still needed a couple of mins , but they kept pushing us as they said in an hr or so more ppl will be coming because of Ramadan which is still on and that ppl will be coming to break their fast. We ordered lamb chops and steak. 3 dishes of lamb chops came to the table not well presented like it was thrown on the plate and they looked more like lamb cutlets or beef chops with little bone on it , not the regular lamb chops we have had there most of the other times there. The chops were also quite dry. The Steak seemed ok . We told one of the waiters serving us about it and he said sometimes they do have days they tend to serve chops like the way we saw them today without much bone inside .

We also requested for tea and they said no they don’t serve it on Saturdays because saturdays are very busy and lots of ppl and only coffee they can serve as it’s reddy made. Tea u can only get on regular week days.
However as we explored to the waiter another waiter serving Someone outside happened to be serving them tea and today wasn’t busy because of Ramadan and the sun hadn’t gin down yet for those to come and break their fast. At the end we got our tea.

The last time we went they also said they not serving tea as they don’t have hot water then they said they can give us hot water with mint in a paper cup as long nobody else’s sees.

It’s a nice place when we usually come and it’s sad to see what we saw today and hope it doesn’t happen again.
