One submarine...Russian..

Go only if you have nothing much to do one afternoon..

Entry fee us cheap but the place is not that interesting despite it being a submarine ...

If you have not been in a sub, this is the next best thing especially if you have claustrophobia. Be warned that you have to crawl on your knees between the sections, only to cross over. Still, it was hot and stuffy . In a way, you get to appreciate the officers in a sub, the conditions and the smallness of the whole place.
Boy, I was glad to finish exploring, to be out in the sun after that.

The monument is within walking distance of Surabaya Gubeng station and My Studio Hotel. Pay it a visit if you're wandering the city, tickets to enter the sub are only 15,000rp (~AU$1.50). It's a bizarre sight in the midst of a busy city, quick to visit and not costly.

You can go inside this historical submarine, quite narrow passage inside it. cool experience if you want to see the inside of a submarine and the history behind it. There is a skating park & surabaya icon statue too near it
