I booked the hotel without any expectation, what I knew this is quite an old hotel and its been there for a while, location wise , this hotel is very convenient as it is right in middle of Bogor, close to botanical gardens, factory outlets and some nice places to eat. To my surprise, the hotel was being renovated and turns to be very nice. the room is spacious (we ordered 2 deluxe rooms) the swimming pool size is enough for my kids to play around. the food is ok, but you dont have to worry about it because hotel surroundings is full of nice well known restaurants in bogor (kedai kita, apple pie, macaroni panggang, etc).

This hotel meets our needs at first. Fast check in, clean pool to play with kids, nice lobby, easy access and good review in tripadvisor.
But, everything was changed after we swim early in the morning. We planned to swim before having our breakfast, so we can have breakfast after took a bath. We got stood up outside our room for more than an hour, in empty stomach and wet body due to the broken door. Poor my babies.
Some technicians came and went one another without solving the problems, and told us to wait a little longer to give them time to consult to their manager, and so an hour past.
A manager then came and give us a room, in the 4th floor, while we waited for the door to be fixed. the room looks shabbier, but what can we do? We need to warm our body.
They gives us option to send the breakfast to our room, but yeah, not the way we wish we have breakfast though.
Some minutes later, they send up our bag to change, but they let our other belonging still in the room with the broken door. My phones, backpack and laptops are still in that room, without any security guarantee. Everything happen that morning pisses my husband off. We expect them give us a faster respond without letting us got cold outside in empty stomach.
Even after the incident, no one from the management came to clear up the situation. We have to call the reseption ti have a contact with the management and got a time extention.

Thank you for letting us having the experience we never expect to have again in the future.

Very great location since I am not having my own vehicle during the trip. Everything are within walking distance, Kebun Raya Bogor, restaurants, food street, parks, etc. Even more attractive at night. You might want to pick higher room to get a nice mountainous view. Staffs are very helpful and humble. Pool is not that big but just adequate. I prefer to swim in the early morning before all the kids join us :)
A little problem just because you can hear little noise from the room above.
