Fresh coconut water served upon my arrival. The view of the rice fields is spectacular. There are two pools - one private and one next to the place for everyone. There is a koi pond in the bathroom! It’s hard to describe how sweet this place is. I’m on a solo writer’s retreat, and having such peace and quiet and beauty here was wonderful. You can read a book from the selection of unique writings on the library shelf, walk in the rice fields, swim in the private pool... You can sleep outside at night under the stars with a special bed they’ve made that overlooks the fields. People will make you breakfast when you wake up. I highly recommend this spot for a special gathering or romantic getaway.
Amazing place, Great Hospitality and Good Value. Very recommended place overall including the location and also good to have a nice photoshoot in the villa.
Last stop on our Indonesia tour. 2 adults and 3 children stayed in the family villa. Plenty of room to accomodate us. Spectacular views to the rice fields (almost embarrasing to stay in these fantastic environments while watching the rice farmers work so hard). Very stylish and comfortable villa (European/Bali style mixed very beatifully).
The best service we had in all our stays on our 1 month trip (which say A LOT). Manager, Breakfast crew, Cleaning crew and especially "Dollar" the driver were EXCELLENT.
Very recommendable to have "Dollar" drive you to his recommended places and restaurants. Every single pick he choose were great.
In order for a villa to be 5 star it has to have 5 star owners, which is the case here. The owners, Russel and River, care about their guests. My girlfriend and I had a couple minor issues that needed to be dealt with and they were on it. Problem solved. We ended up staying in Harvest Moon, and another of their villas Honey Moon. We enjoyed both villas, but our favorite was Harvest. The area in which the development is built has a very tranquil vibe. No traffic noises, only the ducks quacking as they walked by several times a day. The property dog, Zero (we called him Hero) hung out in our villas because I fed him a couple times. A large market, that has a product line catering to westerners, is right down the street, super convenient. I have business in Bali and have stayed in dozens of hotels and villas. The villas here are top notch. I would recommend staying here, and will definitely be back.

We chose Harvest moon over hotels in Ubud to have the luxury of swimming in our private pool, but to our disappointment, we were greeted with this condition of the pool (see photo). Wayan, the Villa Manager brought some staff to fix it on our first night but until our last day (4th day), the pool was still hazy and still was not appropriate for swimming.
Being just beside a rice field, there were plenty of insects crawling on the floor and beds, this made us uncomfortable as well.
But it was not all that bad... we wish to commend Nyoman, he was our tour guide and driver. He welcomed us to the Villa instead of Wayan. He showed us around Ubud and he treated us like family. He was really apologetic with the status of the pool and the villa even though he need not be. The host Russ was also very nice and accommodating, maybe we just expected what was written on the listing and what we saw in the photos.
