Each night, after a day of snorkeling or dolphin watching, we would sit on the hotel terrace and watch the red sun sink into the sea. It sounds like a cliche but it was not. As local people looked for shells or, later as it started to get darker, moved about with flashlights trying to attract prawns we enjoyed a specially prepared dinner of Balinese sate from the chef. This hotel has a spacious and spotless swimming pool and we had it almost to ourselves. The spa offers great relaxation packages and the rooms are clean and air-conditioned. The staff are incredibly professional and friendly. We were especially impressed by Arik who went out of his way to ensure we had the best possible experience. All staff are attentive without being intrusive. We will definitely be back!

First they pass off lousy cheap white fish for tuna and I caught them twice doing this. The first time I told them not to lie about it and the second time I asked and they said they had tuna. I asked is it real? He said yes and I said are you sure then he said "we are out". We ordered desseet which was supposed to have sauces and they didn't. My partner's meal was so small I gave him some of mine. Never again. They are bandits and liars. Because of this I would likely not even stay here.

During the transport to the hotel, we noticed that the surrounding of Lovina was not very promising. The hotel on the other side looked great. Because there was not that much to do at Lovina we staid for 2 days at the hotel. The stay was a bit disappointing because we couldn’t swim due to yellow flogs of bacteria in the swimming pool. Also the bathroom was full of fungus and the fridge started to make make a very loud sound in the middle of the night. During the lunch we got served a chicken burger that was raw for the biggest part.
The man who was serving the meals was very nice to us the whole time and he was trying to give us a discount for our next meal. Eventually this was only a discount of 10% on both our meals.

On the second day, the pool was cleaned and we could take a swim. That was making up a bit of the day before.
And our room was “cleanup” and had a nice swan of towels on our bed.
The day we left, we had mixed feelings and everybody was very nice to us.
