Definitely shonky. Demanded full payment with booking two months in advance. Paid the money. Due to a medical problem we were unable to travel. Tried to advise by email and phone, but ignored. Despite the supposed cancellation policy lost our $900.
Now their website is down. Place may not exist.

• - 1 (one) days before arrival 50% of the Room Charge.
• - No show 100% of the room charge.
even at one site online booking we also have last minute policy without any cancellation charge
Our guests are our number one priority at the property and if someone is dissatisfied with their experience, we work very hard to correct this immediately and in a timely fashion in order to turn their experience around

We chose the Nugraha Lovina hotel for its location and we were not disappointed. It is on the sea front and the view from the room/ restaurant/ pool is beautiful. We would recommend this hotel because of the overall beautiful setting; we really enjoyed the outdoor facililties. However, if you look at things more closely, you start to notice things are past their use-by date and are not as clean as they should be.
The staff was ever so polite and accommodating, which was a bonus. Finally, the food was not the best, lack of taste and not the best quality.
We have visited Nugraha Lovina Seaview Resort numerous times, this hotel is ideally located with beautiful views of the ocean and the volcano of Java from the rooms and terrace. Staff are amazing, always helpful and friendly. Breakfast is fine, and the food in the restaurant good. The rooms are clean and the most comfortable of beds in Bali. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to get away from it all and relax. Room 211 has WiFi along with all public areas of the hotel, But other rooms do not get it - which is a shame. Would stay here again. Thanks you Merry and team for a lovely stay once again.
we stayed here on this january 2016 one day. breakfast is good but only american breakfast is delicious, fried rice more sweat and not delicious. . but when you wake up in the morning no one here. even you ring bell in the table many times but no one is here n its 7 am in the morning. i cant believe it. they give welcome drink. maybe because no other guest stay here except me and my parents and my aunty. we booked 2 room for me and other room for my uncle. no other guest. only me. pool is dirty very dirty like never clean it. i cant imagine how much the owner spent for lazy staff. TV channel only little not much international. the only win because location near the beach / ocean. we not suggest this place.
stayed here for 3 days. I'm not sure exactly where these other reviews are basing their stay on as the accommodation is not great.
When we checked in the man at the front desk asked that we pay for our stay upfront. This set alarm bells off as most places take money at the end of the stay. We were shown to our room which was quite dingy and poorly lit. The bathroom looked as though it had been renovated recently but the rest of the accommodation was drastically in disrepair. The walls were in bad need of painting, the television didn't work, the curtains were completely covered in holes. There were also lumps of wood in our garden that seemed to be holding up the fence.
Whilst we stayed here there was a lot of building work taking place next door, I think to expand the hotel but it meant that even when we tried to relax we couldn't because of the noise.
The pool was also in need of repair, with paving stones missing.
It didn't help that lovina has nothing to do in the area. The beach is quite a walk from the hotel (there is no beach at the hotel, only retaining wall with sand on top to make it seem as though there is a beach )
Would not go back
