Good setting over gandhi chowk, very beautiful old haveli. Indian food was very tasty, pasta was average. Very good service. A bit pricey, but i would recommend, especially the indian dishes.

The Veg Spring rolls were not crispy and I only ate the filling.
The rice for the main course was overcooked and the stuffed paratha was poor.
My wife described her palak paneer as "thin and watery with very little paneer". My veg Korma was OK.
The service was good, but the quality of the food let it down.

Saffron rooftop restaurant is not next to the Fort but there are still reasonable views on offer.

The food was good, plenty of different dishes on offer, while you can stipulate whether you want them mild/medium/spicy/Indian spicy - this reduces the chances of an unpleasant surprise if you cannot handle the hotter curries.

There are also displays of Rajasthani dancing and accompanying music to help the evening feel more authentic - sit away from the action if you don't want to be encouraged to participate!!
