Just returned from a 2 week holiday in Candolim, We have stayed here a few times but this was a first stay at Albuquerque Holiday Villas. Arrived at around 8.00 am after travelling for 17 hours. Jala and Mr Tony greeted us and immediately gave us an upgraded villa. On previous visits we have had to wait for a vacant room in other hotels but they offered us a room to recover from our journey for a couple of hours !! By the time we had gone for something to eat and returned to the 'villas' our baggage had been relocated to our villa. Separate lounge, kitchen, bathroom and absolutely spotless.
Stayed for a few days and then went to Mumbai for the weekend. Jala arranged for our taxi to the airport and the return trip to the villas and our taxi driver was superb.
Location is excellent, food at breakfast is more than enough but the biggest compliment must be to all the staff for making our stay a very enjoyable one.

We had a 2 week stay here and were blown away by how clean and tidy it was. Not too mention all the staff who were very friendly and went out of their way to help, nothing was too much trouble for any of them. Highly recommend to anyone.

Stayed here for 4 nights and it was amazing. Liaised with the owner beforehand and he arranged for a taxi to collect us from the airport. The taxi driver messaged me to let me know where he would be waiting. When we arrived at the hotel the staff were there to great us and took us straight to our room. The room was lovely, clean and spacious and the wifi was good. Breakfast was really tasty and plenty of choice too. The pool was always clean and was very refreshing in the heat of the day. The staff are always on hand and very helpful when asking advice. Everything you could want is on your doorstep but at the same time you feel like your in an oasis of peace and calm. The beach is nearby and really nice too. I would defiantly recommend this place if you ever visit Candolim

We were really pleased with our stay in March. It was Immaculate, relaxing and quiet. An oasis in chaos of Goa that we needed to retreat back to each evening. Very comfortable beds giving a good night's sleep. The staff were very friendly and helpful and they served a brilliant breakfast every morning. We also enjoyed using the swimming pool which was very clean and lovely and cool.

This being our 3 visit to Goa but this time we were a group of 13 adults and 3 kids ..
We were looking for a clean , safe and accessible hotel ...
I came across Albuquerque holiday homes thru TripAdvisor and liked the property and was impressed by reviews by prev guests ..

Believe me Albuquerque staff lived up to its reputation ...
Few main reasons to stay here :
Reason #1- STAFF- Jala Naik .. (reservation manager).....always on her toes and probably with an energy of 10 people ..
She smiles and does her work efficiently .
She is a Genie who provides solutions to visiting guest ..
we needed early checkin and late Chekout - granted ..
We needed a kitchen to cook baby food for 2 toddlers in our family - kitchen given to us ..
We needed a wheelchair for mother , they provided .
On last day , one of our kid needed a doctor intervention .. Jala not only suggested the doctor but also send her car with driver to us.......( we are so obliged for this gesture ).

Reason #2 - STAFF - Mr Tony ... a quiet man with a 1000 watt smile... he ensured everybody is taken care of. Always busy with various activities , yet always accessible .

Reason #3- STAFF - the housekeeping boys, the kitchen staff and also the night Gaurd ...
All work like as if they owned the place and their duty was 100% service to the guest..

REASON # 4- The property is a homestay..
Rooms are very very clean and housekeeping can beat a 5 star hotel .
We hired a family villa which had 5 small rooms and a sitting room (and can accommodate 10 pax ..)
The rooms are interconnected like a small house ... small yet comfortable ....perfect for a close knit family .
With 3 refrigerator , and 3 kettles ,and 3 washroom...
The AC are chillingly perfect and bedsheets, washroom , everything is CLEAN......
THE swimming pool is clean and good for non swimmers too..
Campus is not very big but definitely beautiful and u can take a stroll peacefully !!...
It has parking too .... a feature which not many hotel in North Goa have ... I guess ..

Breakfast is complimentary ....and tasty .

But no room service as they don't have a running restaurant ...

REASON #5- LOCATION- its on candolim road and just 400 metres from beach .. it's just 10 minute of walk to the beach ...
A small lane leads u to the beautiful candolim beach ..the lane is across the road......

There are nice eating joints like
FAT PANDA, FISHERMAN HUT, Republic of noodles etc nearby ...
Taxi operators are next door too..and also few supermarkets like Delfinos...which sold everything u need on daily basis ...

All in all ... it's a place which u should go to if you are a group or as a family ...

it'MUCH better than the PLASTICKY RESORT hotels .... which soothes ur ego...
And rip your pockets ....!!
Here you get is a feeling of home away from home and yet enjoy the holiday ..in style ..
Only suggestion ..., they should increase the variety in breakfast ...
The coffee there is amazing .
Will surely be back if I'm lucky to visit Goa again ....
Strongly recommend this place .
