Free entrance and opened during Chinese festivals, the museum in not very big, a bit more than one hour can be enough. The place looks a bit dusty. Dinosaur and earth exhibition at the 1st floor, marines mammals and fish at the 2nd floor, wetland and forest at the 3rd floor, Africa's exhibition in the basement. Not much coherence with historical periods, not pointed out when the animal is real or just a fake reconstruction.

Very nice marine museum, especially the underwater tunnel. We bought the ticket that includes all the areas (polar museum, marine etc...), but this part was the best. Many species, dolphin show, the thing I didn't like is that some animals have no protection, so people obviously try to touch them even if it's forbidden...

Definitely worth a visit if you're a museum lover. The museum isn't huge but there is plenty to see. Most displays have the titles in English and Chinese, however the descriptions are in Chinese.

Entry was free and I didn't need to make a reservation. I found the museum well looked after and clean. There are a lot of interesting displays to see (even a dinosaur hall). The museum isn't massive so an hour or two, you should be able to see everything, depending how fast you walk and how many pictures you take.

If you have a few hours to kill pop in at the Natural History Museum and take a walk along the sea side after. Don't forget the downstairs section on Africa :)
