Returned to the Shangri-La in Suzhou for a 2nd visit this year. The staff is very customer focused and available to meet the needs you have plus some. Japanese restaurant on site is excellent, along with the breakfast buffet. Guest rooms have the conveniences you would expect at high end hotel.

I stayed in the hotel 3 times from June to Sep. The staff at Horizon club not only provide excellent service, they also made you feel at home. They can even remember my favourite biscuits even though my last trip before June was 5 months ago! In Jul, I stayed in 3 different Shangrila hotel in Taiwan, Shanghai & Suzhou. Suzhou is the best in terms of service & the food for happy hours at Club level.

Shangri-la hotel are very international very good product.humanized management.The waiter attitude is very good.
health club environment is very good.The water temperature.The girl Betty yang is careful enthusiasm.

Due to the work need, my husband and myself had stayed in Shangri-la Suzhou for over 60 days in 2016 (until Aug). We enjoy our stay very much there, we are always being greeted by courteous and smiley staffs. They are from all service dept such as horizon club, cafe soo, house keeping, gym, and concierge!

One interesting fact is that we love the king size bed in Shangri-la! It is simply very comfortable and huge.

We also would like to take this opportunity to thank the staffs in horizon club who has unceasingly attend to our need and show us their care and concern whenever we are there. They are Aijier, Calvin, Cathy, Greta, Karida, and Polly (and chef Tendi & Zones too). They pamper my husband a lot with his favorite Pu-er tea and truffles! Thank you guys!

We miss being in Shangri-la and I am sure we will be back soon! Next year!

We spent the weekend here and enjoyed every bit of our stay. The staff could not have been more helpful and attentive. The GM, Oscar Gao, is a consummate professional, overseeing everything with exceptional care. Even though the hotel was at 100% capacity, Oscar made it a point to greet us and insure all our needs were met. We had meals in all 3 of the hotel's restaurants and were impressed with the quality and service. The Horizon Club lounge was also a nice respite from a busy schedule. It seems this hotel is especially "family friendly" with many young families enjoying swimming and water recreation. I highly recommend this hotel!
