This is a large luxury hotel with few guests when I was there. It has 2 large high-rise sections and the rooms are enormous. Mine had a kitchen area (without equipment), balcony and attractive walk-in shower. As another reviewer states, no expense has been spared and I guess the Government has earmarked Hainan Island as a tourist destination. Development is still continuing in the area. It is about half a mile from the beach and has a good pool. There are 2 restaurants, one supposedly Western but with no service at dinnertime when we were there. Breakfast there was reasonable. The Chinese restaurant set menu dinner was adequate but short on quantity. Luckily there is a convenience store on site where we could add snacks. Staff had a smattering of English.
I considered laundry service but the price was extortionate, probably in keeping with the accommodation price although I do not have any figures as the hotel was included in the package price of my holiday
