We were originally going to stay in Sanya with a “global” chain but family recommended this one and it was a good choice.
Great value for money
We have two kids so the children’s entertainment was essential! A good variety of things for them to do and on the rainy days, there was extra stuff like a bouncy fun run. The staff were very good and played with the kids including balloon animals and origami.
In terms of food, we only had the breakfast which had a very good spread. Standard western options (although skip the baked beans, horrible) of bacons, sausages etc and ham and cheese. In addition, cakes and sweets?!!! The Chinese options were great including made to order soup noodles, congee, pancakes and many other options. A nice touch for the kids was buns in the shape of turtles
The location of the hotel was very handy. Right above a shopping centre with supermarket and beach about 10 mins away. Good to have a some beach huts with food and shops too
Of course, rooms in hotels are important. Good stuff: the kettle and drying rack, Chinese essentials. Not sure the wooden walls are right for the location given the humidity so hotel was a bit tatty in places. Also not sure about the combined bedroom/bathroom/toilet with only glass doors between them. You can see and hear everything!
Still, very good value for money
