A truly wonderful hotel stay.

I would like to say how wonderful an experience we had at the Park Hyatt sunny Bay Sanya. The hotel itself is truly amazing in its style and design even being a few years old it still looks cool and modern. The big plus for me, not being a Chinese speaker was the effort the staff went to assist me with and questions I had. They were all very friendly and attentive. We ate in most of the restaurants in the hotel and were not disappointed in one of them.
I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough as a non Chinese speaking foreigner I was made to feel welcome and valued.

Room tip: Breakfast can be very busy be warned, however my experience in Chinese hotels is always the same. The staff did make everything run smoothly

A perfect sanctuary for a getaway

The hotel itself is a tranquil sanctuary with an artistic vibe. Everything just slows down a bit in here. There’s so much to explore within the hotel, needless to say the private sunny bay, which is only accessible by Park Hyatt. Super friendly staff and excellent service! One of the best hotels, if not the best, in Hainan.

Absolutely Amazing

A massive thank you to all the staff during this difficult time. You went above and beyond.

We had a fantastic stay even if it was extended and troublesome due to the resent outbreak. We originally booked to stay for 3 nights but ended up staying for 12 nights. Could not think of a better place to be stuck.

The room was lovely and so nice to have a balcony. It was a great size too. The food was quality both during normal times and in the outbreak. Room service was great for something different or if you just felt hungry.

The beach and pool are both great places to relax and enjoy the day.

The layout of the hotel is really interesting and some lovely works of art all around the hotel. It can be amaze and confusing at first to get around. However, that adds to the charm of the place. Take time to explore as its worth it.

Your assistance during this time in getting us home to Beijing as been truly appreciated. Once again thank you.

If you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy the peace and quite, look no further than here.

We look forward to returning in the future.

Paramount ocean vocation.

The hotel upgrade me to the paramount ocean view room in the highest floor. The room have no shade to the ocean, overlooking the whole sunny bay. The hotel offers a variety of paid sea sports within the hotel. The beach of the hotel is private so you can enjoy some peace in the busy sanya.
The service of the hotel is nice, giving free sunblock and mosiquito repellent. The breakfast is well for hotel level like Park Hyatt, but still holds space for improvement.

Room tip: Try to ask for a room in block 5 which direct face the ocean. And not to take drone on the beach because there is a military base nearby.

Outstanding location with its own beach and oecan swimming but very poor service

Pros:
> Outstanding location
> Private hotel beach with ocean swimming and snorkeling possibilities
> Very well maintained
> Millions of photo possibilities
> Excellent kitchen and bar
> Stable internet
> Very large and well equipped rooms
> Very clean

Cons:
> Only one (!) could speak decent English during our stay - Mr. Derrick Liu; all other were not able to understand/speak a word in English. If you have no Chinese language help you are really lost!! Even ordering a
> Low efficient check-in; couldn't explain the own check-in form
> Was once seated in the converted aisle for breakfast. Absolute horrible. No aircon there and no service. Next day we refused to sit there
> Room cleaning only at around 16:00; no evening service 2x
> Couldn't dine in the Chinese restaurant, were informed that reservation one day in advance is required. Would be great to get that info during check-in and not at the time when you are hungry
> Kids Club is soso. Some programs are good, some not. Again, if only English you are lost with numerous obvious and not obvious translation mistakes; choose wrong program once
> On the beach are numerous warning signs not to take pictures of military installations and you are also not allowed to fly the drone. Would be great to get this pointed out at check-in so to know which direction is super sensitive. I googled/baidued it and it is clear why and not where to point your camera at (rather large area). But tell the guest directly and not make them search by themselves

Overall excellent location but for a "Park" the service is too bad and not on the expected level - my feeling is a million of interns are running around but no professionals. Without the prime location, I would have given only three stars.

Room tip: Avoid to be seated in the converted aisle for breakfast next to the back exit door. No aircon, no service! Any room is great!
