Excellent

A huge resort. Rooms are very spacious. A multitude of restaurants and ever helpful staff. If you are non-Chinese looking you will stand out which has some perks from the staff. They will remember you better. Definitely recommended if you want to spend a few days to a week with your family and you are not interested in going out anywhere. This is the perfect place to spend your entire vacation without venturing out from the resort. It has every thing you may need. Shopping mall, cinema, restaurants, entertainment bookstore etc.

It is a huge complex, in height and width, many wings with their own name and reception and 25-30 floors each. It is a combination of exhibition center and swimmingpool -resort, which i find a difficult combination. it is nowhere close to a beach. Difficult to say which wing is best, it depends on your needs.
I was far away from breakfast area which is really huge in size and also common for all wings. This makes breakfast area really crowdy, noisy and dirty (floor gets easily lots of waste from kids and non caring families).
I would prefer to stay close to the breakfast area, you can be lost otherwise. It is not a type of resort you use to know.
Room was clean and spacy but nothing special (it looked ready to host extra beds for kids) with a small fridge (2 bottles of water), no mini bar.
Disappointing with no restaurants that are open for such a large property. Need to take taxi for outside dining and other activities, going to beach included!
Staff, except for reception and hotel manager, is difficult to communicate in english.
I got great help from hotel manager who solved many problems for me.

Room tip: Huge crowdy complex, difficult to say which wing is best. Choose high & close to breakfast area

I stayed a few nights midweek in this great resort complex. Out of season (mid-June) not everything was open and it was quiet with few people, mostly families and people in the conference center.
Good choice of food outlets, but difficult to find a 'bar' in the widest sense of the word. Yes, you can get German Beer (and you pay top prices) but if your friends want a cocktail, the best you can do is sent them to the Mexican restaurant for it is there that the bottles of spirits hang out. I'm used to having food joints everywhere you look - and spot-on pool service. Here, you have to go traipsing round looking for them, as the food doesn't come to you. Not quite what I'd want for a holiday.
Having said that, I had a room in B block (Kapok) on the 21st floor. Good sized room with a bathroom with large shower and a bath at the edge of the floor. Quite a position to have a bath - right on the edge! Amorous couples might want to use the blinds as the huge window, while affording a great view of the city and out to sea, gives viewers an eyefull....!
The waterpark was not fully functional as the wavepool was being fixed. A group of 6 of us had it pretty much to ourselves. Crazy system of having to pay cash for items such as the lazy river tubes once in the park. Where do you keep the cash, in your budgie-smugglers? The Cobra ride is the best of the lot. The final drop into the Cobra's hood feels vertical and first time round is exciting.
My advice is to get the free shuttle bus to their Yalong Bay resort (free but book 24 hours in advance) where you'll be on the beach and have more 'western' food options, including cocktails.

Room tip: Higher floors are, obviously, quieter. Search around for the best swimming pools - there are many!!

The resort has a lovely hotel with comfortable rooms with nice ocean views. The breakfast buffet served is BIG with a huge choice of foods and drinks to choose from. Try to get there early or not during peak breakfast time, otherwise you'll be queuing for a while. The resort has nice swimming pools and garden areas and the beach strip is beautiful.

I enjoyed my stay here! The room was luxurious by Chinese and western standards! The resort is beautiful! I was disappointed with the lack of shops and restaurants that are open for such a large property. I found myself having to take the taxi for any activity that I wanted to do including going to the beach! While the hotel is nice, it is deceiving because it is nowhere close to a beach! The watermark for the kids looks amazing, but it is also an additional charge!

The room is nice and clean enough. Yet the service is bad. Most the entrances are closed at night and even the business centre need to call the staff to open for you. That's crazy. Please note that not all the hotel got business centre. Also when i need some utensils at night and i simply call the house keeping. They forward my call to catering and it takes a long long time for people to answer your call.
