Loved this hotel! From the moment we arrived, a wonderful employee called Laura greeted us, helped us check in, and then added me on WeChat. This was so great because we could just message if we needed anything 🙂 The pool was lovely and so was the club lounge 😀

We had the most enjoyable and relaxing 4 night stay at this hotel. Ernest was very friendly and extended a warm welcome. The breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious and the service staff was very efficient. Fairmont Gold lounge helmed by Emily and Ellie was excellent. Jason, the housekeeper and his team were outstanding - a towel left on the floor for my stretching exercise was promptly replaced by a yoga mat!!! Highly recommended.

Perfect end and start to the new year. The hotel staff were excellent during our short stay.
We like to note the following individuals who helped us personally:
- Candy: There were no frills and fuss, as we wanted assistance with our packages as well as translating our queries in a timely manner.
- Jerry and Sally : at front desk were amazing as they offered us a quick check in and also telephone assistance throughout our stay.
- Gold access lounge : at the lounge all staff were fantastic and friendly. They gave us good service and remembered our daily diet needs.
- Staff at the restaurant : were helpful in storing our special New Years drinks and also serving us late in the evening with our meals.
The fireworks display and evening festivities were a highlight. Pity with the weather and restrictions a beach party couldn’t take place. Surely something to enjoy next new year!

We decided to return to this Fairmont hotel for Christmas and we were again treated to outstanding service, lovely rooms and setting.
We again booked the Fairmont gold package which really does make the trip a little special with a private breakfast and area to enjoy afternoon drinks and food especially if you are travelling as a couple.
The food was better this time and they have a new executive Italian Chef so we are expecting even bigger improvements the next time we visit. The Christmas buffet was a little short on traditional Christmas dinner food - I’m sure they will improvements however the fireworks to end the dinner were fantastic.
if I had to sum up the this hotel, we keep thinking about staying elsewhere but we are scared to lose the 5* service so keep coming back, as my partner says “it’s not worth the risk”!
