I've been there for business trip and the hotel is so impressed to me. Nice and new hotel, good service, polite staff, lovely food and clean bedroom. Definitely will stay in this hotel when i am back to Xiamen again.

There are a variety of wings and buildings that comprise this hotel. Where you stay has a direct bearing on the size of your room and how recently it has been modernized. In the sea block where I stayed the rooms were quite up to date, very clean, large and Airy. The views over the water were lovely. If you're looking to explore Xiamen this is a little off the beaten track. It is close to the Kah Kee memorial which is nice but most restaurants are on the island. You can find small local places which Chinese would describe as being more for snacks, in other words noodle shops in the lake. However you won't find much in the way of true sit-down meals which are good to dine in. So expect to have a 20 or 30 minute cab ride anywhere you want to go. Food in the hotel is very pricey compared to other places that are nearby. While the hotel has what they deem a Lobby Bar it has very limited options and service is insanely slow.
Stayed here for a couple of nights while on business in Xiamen. The property is relatively new, on the water. The rooms are luxurious and expansive. The only drawback was the quality of food at the restaurant - while OK, not to the level of the rest of the property. But, I definitely recommend this hotel!
We just spent one night in this Hotel. It's only 15 min away from the Railway Station which was good for catching the early train.
We had a big room with sea view with a huge bathroom. The bed was huge and very comfortable.
Little tip. If you walk thru the park next to the hotel and take a right after around 400 meters from the exit of the park you arrive at a very nice neighborhood with a lot of shops and restaurants.
The rooms are really high standard, with comfortable beds and proper high quality bathroom. We ask for a room with a view on the bay, which is recommended because all sort of things happen at low and high tide so enjoying a sip of Chinese tea on the terrasse with a view is definitely a plus. There are 2 restaurants: one with a buffet and a large choice of food, from vegan to Chinese, fish, meats and the specialty of the day. This one has the view on the outside. There is another one, a bit cheaper, but the foood is very good. Only dispapointment for a Eurppean traveller, the wine - although provided for free - is ... heu well not super appealing. Maybe better to sell the wine and offer the customer the choice. Anyway, lots of activities for children (a stunning pool for the little ones) and the older ones with the gym, spa, etc. All in all a relaxing alternative to hotels located on the island, if you have the possibility (or want) to combine top class hotel with staying a bit outside of the city.
Only one down side: there is a lounge but no bar as far as a business person would like to enjoy for relaxing / talking business (but one is said to be in progress).
I have stayed here twice and I am booked for my third stay, lovely place to stay, rooms are quiet and very modern. Each stay is only a few days due to business commitments but I am looking forward to going back.
