Stayed for six nights beginning of Sept 24. First impression was that the hotel was a little dated. We were given an upgrade due to some minor issues with one of the staff over the phone when sorting out payment for two rooms. We were on floor eight and arrived early hours. Soon as we got out of the lift you could smell damp in the hallway. It was clear there was some kind of leak as my daughter got hit by some water from the ceiling. Day or so later we then saw diffusers which were masking the smell. These were on throughout our stay. Daughter in her room when getting into bed found a lump of hair, clearly got caught up whilst sheets were being washed but just the same can’t believe it was missed. Mini bar was empty in both of our rooms. On check out was asked if we used it and I asked was it meant to be empty. Staff very apologetic that both room fridges empty. Daughters room also smelt of damp. Breakfast was just okay nothing special.
