We travelled as a family party of seven.
We had three lovely rooms. It would have been good if they had been in the same block but not a major issue.
The rooms are spacious and very well appointed. Every part of the hotel is spotless and the staff are very friendly.
I booked half board for my family as we didn't know how expensive it would be to eat. it was not that expensive. The A la Carte restaurant was dear but very good.
The rooftop, which was included, was excellent. We also ate from the buffet one evening and the choice of food was fantastic.
We used the Roaring Rabbit pub for drinks before dinner but did not eat. Drinks are expensive with a round of beers wine and soft drinks approaching £100. Take advantage of happy hour and most drinks are cheaper.
The pool area and beach are spectacular. Its a really nice touch that they provide bottled water free of charge.
This is a truly lovely hotel with excellent staff.

If I could sum up this hotel in one word, it would be, “serenity”✨ From the welcoming and friendly staff to the divine dishes, The Taj made our stay a memorable one. The staff were attentive to our needs, they assisted and guided us with places to visit, as well as, even recommending the more affordable options! They also made small gestures to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary! The hotel’s facilities were clean and the interior felt minimalist yet luxurious and elegant… A special thank you to: Grace, for the wonderful spa treatments. Chef Anoop, for sharing some secret recipes with us. The housekeeping team, Samir and Vijay, for looking after us. All staff from Palm Kitchen, Raia, The Roaring Rabbit, and Varq for their hospitality. And finally, a heartfelt thank you to Vikas, James and Kunav.
