Location is ideal, just off the marina, a short walk to JBR and to the metro station. Considering you are on THE main road in Dubai we didn't hear the traffic at all.
The staff were pleasant and helpful and the facilities were always clean.
The pool gets sun for the early part of the day but it gets shady quite early in to the afternoon due to the other buildings in the area.
Although the rooms were clean and spacious they felt dated and even though we were in a non-smoking room you could still smell smoke throughout the hotel.
I would recommend this hotel if you are wanting a base to explore the marina.

Lovely hotel, staff are friendly and service is excellent. Only one negative they never advised us there was a free bus shuttle service from the hotel to the Marina beach. Other than that they made our Dubai holiday!

I recently stayed in Marina View for 7 days and was really pleased with everything they had to offer. Marina View is ideally located next to the metro station and just a few minutes stroll from the Marina and the Mall. The reception staff were really helpful as was the cleaner on the 7th floor. Ghani Khan, Transport Facilitator deserves a special mention as his knowledge of local amenities was extremely beneficial.
