The Hotel is quite ok, rooms are nice, 3 pools and breakfast is also good...but it all ended up in a Dispute! They charged me 50% upfront when booking, when I was there they charged me again 100%. I contacted them afterwards explained it but they completely refused to accept my complaint. Very arrogant, very inflexible, very unprofessional behaviour!!! I can only recommend everybody to check exactly the payment terms when booking or better not to stay in Africana.
Although it was a short stay but it was a nice stay at a nice resort near Alex, cozy rooms, nice breath and atmosphere, nice breakfast and staff, has nice authentic wooden stuff in the rooms, nice open seating area around big swimming pool, I recommend it
A very lovely place to relax and enjoy a clean and fresh weather away from the city rush in a friendly atmosphere. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are very nice with affordable prices.
You can enjoy the pools, the spa ; also you can enjoy having a drink at the Obsidian pub and bar or have a very tasty dinner along with your favourite drink in a cool atmosphere are the viking style The Kraken pub & restaurant.
I stayed in the Africana hotel for a couple of days during my leisure visit to Alexandria. The rooms are clean and very spacious. Pools are nice too with one of them having warm water. The staff is really courteous and eager to help. The only problem is location as it is outside the city, do plan 30-45 mins to reach the Corniche from the hotel.
Very good short one night stay. Great sized clean room with balcony. Buffet dinner had good choice and great quality. Breakfast was nice with wide selection. Did not use pools but they looked very clean.
Would return again in the future.
