I recently stayed at Tolip Hotel Alexandria and was utterly disappointed with the experience. The moment I stepped into my room, I was greeted by a foul stench emanating from the toilet, which looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages. To add insult to injury, when I requested an iron, I was informed that I could only use it for one hour, as if wrinkles magically disappear within 60 minutes.
Furthermore, despite booking for two adults, the room only came with a measly three hangers, barely enough to hang a couple of shirts, let alone accommodate our clothing for the duration of our stay. And don't even get me started on the water situation. Two adults are expected to survive on a mere two water bottles a day, with the audacity of charging extra for additional bottles.
Honestly, I've stayed in multiple five stars hotels & resorts with better amenities and higher cleaning standards and services than this so-called five-star establishment. Tolip Hotel Alexandria needs to seriously reconsider its standards if it wants to retain any semblance of credibility in the hospitality industry.

Thank you for the stay, we really enjoyed! Good breakfast, great location and friendly staff specially Sara at the reception desk! The only downside is carpet/floor and bathroom cleaning, it needs more work, also drainage in bathroom tub always has a problem.
