Good hospitality.. classic hotel .. good staff .. good view .. i reserved easily on phone and found all things great after that .. I recommend this hotel .. and i will visit them very soon again .. but needs to be careful from corona situation this days . Staff not wearing masks

We've been coming to this hotel for ages because of its unique location and it was always OK but we used to have the occasional problem with the staff. There's obviously been a dramatic change in management because now they really understand the concept of hospitality. Friendly, smiling, eager to please and professional staff throughout the hotel. Great food. Really well done San Giovanni. We will never stay anywhere else in Alexandria

Lovely hotel with a wonderful view! The hotel upgraded us to a suite as a complimentary gesture with a small terrace and an excellent view to the sea. The room is cosy and so comfy. The breakfast was lovely and the restaurant is directly by the sea with a warm ambiance. I highly recommend it!

The room was very clean and tide but we have found cockroach dead next to the wardrobe ....the restaurant was very delicious.....the staff was very polite to us....you can have breakfast next to the sea view

We stayed at the San Giovanni for five nights in March. It was built in 1950 and has a lot of character.The rooms have been updated and are very clean and modern. Our friends had a lovely suite with a walk- out balcony. This hotel is next to the famous and pretty Stanley bridge. The breakfast is included in the room price. It has a large selection of American and Arabic food. You can sit inside the breakfast restaurant or go outside on the patio with a view of the bridge and water. The staff was very accomodating and friendly. The hotel is located in a good area and in the tourist area.
