I would never have expected that I write such review or even give this hotel such rating, I am a frequent customer to this hotel may be twice a year since the last 3 years more over I direct all my family to this hotel as it is my favourite in Alex.
Today I called the hotel to book 5 rooms during Eid period and I spoke to Mr. Marwan from the reception who was very polite and helpful and gave me the rate, I told him I will confirm the number of rooms and call back, I called back after a while on the same day to book and pay, Mohamed Fathy from reception answered me so I explained the situation and that I need to book and confirm based on the rate given by Mr. Marwan, he told me the rate just increased half an hour ago to be almost the double, I told him but I was given another rate by your colleague and I just went to confirm the number of rooms, he replied back since you did not book I can't do anything to you, I replied back OK I understand it's not issue and out of your authority give me the manager to speak to, he started to debate and argue saying that even the manager can't do anything as this is the rules, I kept telling him just give me the manager he kept arguing no one is authorised to do anything to you or break the rules, I asked him again what is the name of the manager and he kept refusing telling me the manager name telling me the name of the supervisor I guess "Yara", I asked him is she the manager he said no Supervisor, I insisted to have the manager name and he kept telling me "Yara" although she is not the manager
This Mohamed Fathy is shame to the hotel industry, and is a disgrace to this hotel and this company
I know no one will consider my review from the hotel as it is not an international chain and don't care about their reputation but I wanted to share my experience with all of you
