The owner, Maja, couldn't be more kind and welcoming. She even did several loads of laundry for us as our children had been backpacking beforehand (she lives in the appartment downstairs). She is a former travel agent so had many excellent suggestions for an intinerary including a detailed plan for us to spend the day in Montenegro. She has many interesting stories about her family and the war. Her German Shepard dog, Rex, is equally friendly.
The garden, which we ate in daily, is stunning and the appartment has some quirky features and everything you could need, including parking, good air conditioning and wifi. The location is great - right by the harbour but on on the opposite side from the huge cruise ships that moor there. It is a 10 minute cab ride to the old town. Frankly I would rather stay here than by the old town, which is quite crowded, touristy and difficult to park.
I couldn't recommend this appartment more highly (unless you want a land lady that you never see). (Oh, and there are two sets of steps to get into it so it would not be ideal for the disabled).
