We spent almost two weeks in the Villa with our two children, in room 502. This is built into the loft of the building so there is no terrace but there are two very large windows that provide fresh air and headspace. There is some getting used to the low ceilings at some points in the rooms, but after 3 days I was able to wake up in the morning without banging my head on the ceiling.

The apartment itself was spotlessly clean - as were all the common areas like the stairs, the pool, the pool toilet, etc. We didn't have the cleaning every day as it would have been a bit much, but we could have done if we'd chosen to. We also had breakfast delivered to our room every morning at a previously agreed time. The scrambled eggs and omelettes were delicious and I already miss the coffee!

The pool is lovely and hardly ever crowded so we always found a space. There are great views from up there and of course, this comes because the Villa is at the top of a very steep hill. We soon got used to the walks up and down and to be honest, we needed the extra workouts after lying on a beach all day! The staff is also extremely helpful and always keen to help and answer all our questions. The bus stop is only a few minutes' walk away and so are a couple of supermarkets plus the beach with restaurants and bars.

I would highly recommend Villa Curic as it is brilliantly located (if you don't mind the hill), staffed with great people and with all that we needed for our holiday. I think it would probably be worth booking one of the rooms with a balcony though, as this gives a little more space (and somewhere to dry all the wet clothes) not to mention that you don't have to worry about banging your head against the ceiling.

Room Tip: Get a room with a terrace or balcony. Rooms 501 and 502 have low ceilings and have no outside area at all.

Spent a week at the Villa in the beginning if August. Our party was 3 kids and two adults. In arrival the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean as was the rest of the complex.
We were concerned about the pool being small and being there at peak time but that wasn't the case. We had the pool to ourselves most if the time and in 30c heat it was a godsend.
It is hilly where the Villa is located but we knew that before we booked it is quite a hilly area.
Only thing for us was as self catering small kitchen no toaster only two ring no oven.
Really enjoyed our stay in Dubrovnik it's a truly lovely country

Would definitely recommend this villa to everyone. It was very clean and the rooms were very spacious. Perfect location, the bus stop to the Old Town was at the bottom of the street, it was 15min walking distance from the beach at Lapad with many restaurants and bars. The pool had a beautiful view on the roof. It is at the top of a hill so there are many steps so maybe not for elderly or those with difficulties walking. The two receptionists were very friendly, offering advice on where to visit and carried our bags up to the rooms.

We stayed here for a fortnight in a top floor apartment. We booked this as the second room had twin beds so was suitable for the kids (rather than a fold down sofa).

Being in what is essentially a converted loft the headroom is poor, particularly in the bedrooms and bathroom. The shower was small and leaked and the room is due a refurb. We only used e kitchen for making toasties and would have struggled to make a family meal in the kitchen area. The wifi up signal was patchy at times but generally okay (I watched Netflix a couple of times when cooking off).

Dubrovnik is a place if stairs, 80(ish) to get to the room; 300(ish) to get to bars and restaurants and more in the old town.

But we loved the place, the service was simply outstanding - the team at the hotel couldn't do enough for you, always willing to spend the time to talking to through the options.

The pool was small but big enough for the needs of the hotel unfortunately there aren't many loungers which wasn't a problem but there were a couple of occasions that people reserved loungers for the morning leaving us sat in the floor.

The owners make wine and we bought a couple of bottles of the white that was very drinkable.

I would 100% recommend this hotel, yes it’s on a hill which is a killer but there are not many places you can go in the six weeks school holiday where the kids practically have an infinity pool to themselves. The staff are so helpful, ordering us a takeaway and helping us on our departure day. Nothing is too much trouble.

We had room 202 which had the biggest balcony and 4 sun loungers. It was excellent.

Breakfast delivered to our door every morning.

Loved the hotel and I would definitely recommend as there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.
