Just spent a fabulous week in apartment Laura .
10 minutes from the incredible old town of Dubrovnik - as mentioned by other reviewers the steps are a challenge at the end of a hot day but not a major problem. The high location affords the amazing view. Lovely dining area which opens out onto the balcony. The apartment is well equipped and Marin is helpful and friendly

We've loved our stay in this apartment - it was everything we'd hoped for. We'd spent the previous two days at the Pucic Palace Hotel ( which apparently had been affected by the recent stormy weather and had no lift and no TV, with no prospect of it being fixed in the next few days) and much preferred our stay in Marin's apartment where everything worked as expected. The views from both the lovely terrace and the dining room are amazing. The short walk into old town is really lovely with the delightful scented jasmine along the route. Coming back is a bit more of a challenge but kept us fit!.
The apartment was lovely. Exactly as the pictures looked online. It was less than 10 minutes downhill to the old city. Coming home would take about 15 going uphill in the heat!
Apartment was clean and well-equipped.
The only 2 complaints were that the shower head holder was missing so we had to hold the shower head up in order to shower ourselves. And the kitchen sink and drain dripped non-stop. This was annoying as you can hear it clearly from the bedroom.
Otherwise, the apartment met our needs perfectly during our stay.
Had lovely break at this apartment. As other travellers have noted the steps are quite grueling but on the plus side I didn't gain any weight! The views from the apartment are ace...I could look out at those views forever (the steps are the reason you get the view!). A note worth mentioning is that there wasn't a hair dryer and no plug for the bath but these are matters that could possibly have been rectified if we'd complained. All correspondence was swift and pleasant. Marin (the apartment owner) organised a taxi to pick us up from Dubrovnik airport which was ideal. The taxi driver was very pleasant and informative giving lots of historical facts and general info on croatian history etc. Nice man. In conclusion, book this apartment if you like good views and have good knees! We had a lovley time.
