We stayed here as a group of 5 girls on a hen do going to Ultra Music Festival. This is a fab apartment in a great location. 10 minute walk into the center of Split and all the bars/restaurants and a 20 minute walk to the stadium for the festival. The owner, Katarina, was fabulous and made us all feel very welcome and she didn't mind out decorations!! The apartment had everything we needed and Katarina was on the end of the phone if we needed anything else.
The only problem we had was the noise from the shop/apartment below. While we were there they were doing renovation work and were at it all hours of the day (until 1am on a couple of occasions) using saws and heavy machinery. This caused us an issue when we got back from partying and couldn't get any sleep!!! Although Katarina was really helpful and spoke to them and the police came out to talk to them about working through unsociable hours they carried on regardless. Im sure they would have finished by now and it wont cause anyone else any issues in the future it just spoilt our stay and beauty sleep!
Thoroughly recommend this apartment to anyone thinking of staying in Split, its down a quiet street and has a great restaurant next door and shops to get food/groceries 5 minutes down the street. The only thing of note that was missing in the apartment was an oven/grill in the kitchen there is only a hob and microwave. Its a 10 minute walk to the bus stop where you can pick up the number 12 bus to get to some non-tourist beaches along the coast.
I would also recommend a trip to a restaurant called Uje Oil Bar... the BEST food and service in Split. We went there 3 times! Great value for money, great memories, fantastic beaches would definitely visit again.
